William “Craig” Jackson, 59, Anna, IL, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN, following a brief illness.

He was born on Aug. 15, 1962, in Twin Falls, ID, the son of Norman K. and Rose Marie (Maus) Jackson. He married Patti Eads on June 4, 1988.

A 1981 graduate of El Dorado Springs High School, Craig went on to receive a bachelor’s degree at School of the Ozarks in Point Lookout. After college, he joined the management team at Wal-Mart, retiring after 20 years. Craig then went to work for Transcraft Trailer Manufacturing until its closure. He later worked at Choate Mental Health in Anna, IL, as a mental health technician for nine and a half years.

Craig was loved by so many. A very gifted and giving soul, he loved helping his neighbors and took so much pride in everything he did. He loved working in his yard and flower gardens side by side with Patti. He loved their two little yorkies, Izzy and Sassy, very much.

He is survived by his wife, Patti Jackson, of Anna, IL; sister, Cyndee (Doug) Fugate – El Dorado Springs; brother, Kip (Mary) Jackson – Nevada; mother-in-law, Jean Ellen Eads – Anna, IL; five brothers-in-law, Larry Ray Eads, William “Bill” (Yavonne) Eads and David Eads all of Cobden, IL, Roger (Lisa) Eads and Jim Mount – Anna, IL, and Donnie Verble – Jonesboro, IL; nieces and nephews, Aaron (Mirriam) Eads, Matt (Sara) Verble, Torey (Ashlea) Fugate, Sean Jackson, Jaycee (Patrick) McIntosh and Jessica Jackson; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brother-in-law, Robert Eads Jr. and James Eads and three sisters-in-law, Donna Mount, Teresa Verble and Julie Eads.

Services were held Friday, Sept. 17, at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, IL, with Bro. Gaylen Holden officiating. Interment followed at Anna Cemetery. Per state of Illinois mandate, those attending were required to wear a face covering while indoors.
