Murrell Pauline Copenhaver, 89, El Dorado Springs, passed away Nov. 16, 2016, at Community Springs Healthcare. She was born April 6, 1927, to William and Bessie Correll. She was a native of Cedar County.
In 1943, Murrell became the wife of Clyde Elbert Copenhaver. To this union two children were born: Judy Ann and Randy Wayne. In the 1960’s she and Clyde moved to Odessa, where they spent 20 plus years. Retirement years took the couple to Warsaw and then finally back to El Dorado Springs where Murrell lived out the rest of her life.
She made many good friends through her passion for motorcycles and her kindness and love of life.
Murrell was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Murrell will always be loved and remembered by her son, Randy Copenhaver, of El Dorado Springs; her daughter, Judy Palmer, of Odessa; her grandchildren, Gaila Rue of Bolivar, Wayne Palmer, Allen Palmer and Tim Peerson of Odessa; sixteen great- grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen White of El Dorado Springs.
The warmth and love she brought to each of us will last through our lifetimes.
The family will hold a private service at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
