Roy Gay Leedy, 88, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2021, at his home. Roy was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Cedar County to Lucian Gay Leedy and Virginia Ann (Jefferies) Leedy. He joined brothers, Joe and Merle to complete their family.

Roy was blessed with a heartfelt, know-so salvation at the age of 12. He was saved at Pacetown on Feb. 24, 1945. Roy loved God and church. He made sure to spread his love of God and church to all of his family. He put countless miles on cars to attend church services.

Roy served in the Korean was for two years. After the war, he came home and married the love of his life, Mary E. Barger, on Dec. 23, 1956. To this union two daughters were born. Roy went on to work for the Bureau of Land Management as a Cadastral Surveyor for 34 years. Through this job he moved to Montana in 1961, where he resided until his death.

Roy is survived by Mary, his wife of 64 years; daughters, Christine (Tony) Ross and Marla Leedy; grandchildren, Levi (Robin) Wicks, Kayla (Nick) Bracciale, Renae (Del) Briere, Skyler Ybarra, and Taylor Ybarra; great-grandchildren, Talon, Trey, Danika, Kaya, Isys, Abel, Hayleigh, Morgan, Paetyn, Gracelynn, Pyper, Jonah and Luna; step-grandchildren, Michael and Stuart Ross, along with their families, as well as numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

Brother Todd Rice officiated in the graveside service in Yellowstone National Cemetery, Laurel, MT.
