Roy Lee Boultinghouse, 69, El Dorado Springs, went to be with his Heavenly Father and beloved wife, Darla, on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022. Roy was born June 28, 1952 to Royston and Myrtle (Hamby) Boultinghouse in Jerico Springs.

Roy lived his life in El Dorado Springs, and is a 1970 graduate of El Dorado Springs High School. Roy was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church (Pace Town). He married Darla Jean (Jenkins) Boultinghouse on April 10, 1979. About this same time, he bought his grandparents farm that is less than a mile from where he grew up, to raise his family. On his farm, every animal had a name and every animal was his pet. During his life, Roy was in the National Guard, a farmer and a truck driver.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Royston, and Myrtle; wife, Darla; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Hines) Boultinghouse, and granddaughter, Darla Christine Davis.

Roy is survived by three sons, Shane Davis – wife, Virginia, Lee Boultinghouse – wife, Amy, and Eric Boultinghouse; four brothers, Earl Boultinghouse, Charles Boultinghouse – wife, Carol, Donald Boultinghouse – wife, Karen, and Alan Boultinghouse – wife, Sherri; five grandchildren, Skyler Greathouse, Ty Davis, Wesley Davis, Kale Boultinghouse, and Darlinda Davis; and one great-granddaughter, Everleigh Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services for Roy Boultinghouse were held on Friday, Feb. 18, with burial in Brasher Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
