Stanley E. Baptist age 66, of El Dorado Springs, formally of Kansas City, passed away at his home on Oct. 24, 2019. Stan was born in Jackson County, the son of Melvin Baptist and Mary (Alexander) Baptist.
After his education he was employed by the Union Pacific Rail Railroad until his retirement. He moved to El Dorado Springs to be close to his parents. Stan enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting guns.
Stan was preceded in death by his brother, Larry, and his parents.
Stan is survived by many family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, at the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery, under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
