Verna Inez Tipper

Verna Inez Tipper was born on February 13, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri.  She passed away on February 8, 2021.

At an early age she moved with her parents to the El Dorado Springs, MO area.  Verna graduated from El Dorado Springs HIgh School in 1959.

On July 14, 1964 she was united in marriage to Donald Page Tipper.  This marriage was blessed with three children, Joseph, Rodney, and Aaron Tipper who joined a sister Donna Jean Tipper.

Don and Verna spent most of their married life in the El Dorado Springs area.  Don worked many years for 3M in Nevada, Missouri, while Verna worked as a caregiver in the healthcare field.

Verna was a member and elder of the Community of Christ Church.  She was a very good artist both painting and drawing.  She loved to crochet, read and do crossword puzzles.  She was very devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Donna Jean Herrnberger.

Verna is survived by three sons, Joseph D.  and (Tiffany R.) Tipper, Ralne and (Karen L.) Tipper, Aaron and (Dana) Tipper;  thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Services were Friday, Feb. 12, at Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, with Rev. Ron Marsh officiating.

Music was “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art.”
