Spoonbilling is still good. My wife weighed one that went 116. The catch runs about half males and half females. The river is still about two feet below bank full.
Conservation says the big run will be on the 12th.
There’s not a lot of trash. You can still use the launching ramp.
I’m not hearing about blue cats on throw lines like I did last week.
We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. six days a week, Sundays 10 – 1.

It’s been a slow week. The fish are here but no fishermen. The Corps ran water for an hour last night. This morning, I’ve sold a lot of minnows, worms and plastic lures.
I’ve started serving biscuits and gravy on Saturday and Sunday from when we open at 9 until we run out. They are big biscuits.
We are open Monday thru Saturday 9-6 and Sundays 9-5.

Walleye are starting to move into coves. They are at the mouths of coves. Soon they will be on the points and flats hitting artificials and bottom bouncers tipped with live bait.
I haven’t seen any crappie.
We are open 9 – 4 for the next couple of weeks then we’ll change.
