The fish are biting. They are catching lots of catfish, several crappie and a few walleye off the bridge, but not as many crappie as we had five years ago. The shad are running.
I serve biscuits and gravy on Saturday and Sunday from when we open at 9 a.m. until we run out. The biscuits are big.
We are open Monday thru Saturday 9-6 and Sundays 9-5.

We are open from 9 to 4 Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It’s ten dollars to launch. Get a ticket at the marina to tell you where to park and to put on your dash so you don’t get towed.
Walleye are biting in the mouth of coves. Crappie are starting to bed up. Bass are biting on crank baits.
I’m getting ready to go fishing at noon Saturday. I’ll start in the brush along the banks.
The lake is 2 1//2 feet high. Water temp is 65 degrees.
