The Osage is up and raising with trees coming down it. I haven’t heard too much. You can’t fish around here very good. I know that.

I look for it to get good over at Schell again. And it may be good now. I don’t know.

I’ve had several fishermen going out.

I’d say the river is going to raise quite a bit then it will be good over at Schell like it was.

What kind of bait are they buying?

Perch. Bullheads. Shad if I have them.  I’ve got carp.  I sell more bullheads than anything. If they want to catch big fish, they use live bait. They catch more fish with cut bait, but they are smaller.

Right now they are just catching the usual: walleye, catfish, crappie, a few hybrids.

A lot of people are using jigs right now. Some are tipping the jigs with minnows or worms.

Lake Stockton Report

Last I heard they were catching crappie up by Turkey Creek.  A lot of them are about a half inch too short.

Everybody else says it’s pretty tough all the way around.
