The river is still up. You can’t see the launching ramp. That’s hard on the average Joe waning to go fishing.

The blue cats are biting. If I just wanted a mess of fish, I’d use worms. If I wanted bigger fish, I’d use live perch.

Some guys were fishing. One kid had four jugs fishing right on the bottom. He caught all the fish.

They are catching crappie, white bass and a few catfish off the bridge up against the dam. Minnows and worms are the best bait.

They are catching crappie 15 to 20 ft. from the bank.

The bass, crappie and walleye have moved into the coves in about 14 ft. of water and they are catching the heck out of crappie, walleye not so much. I think the crappie are getting ready to spawn.
