Fishing is good. Trotline is best but people who l know where to fish are having success on rod and reel.

Yesterday a guy set a line with 20 hooks. He caught 14 fish and had to turn therm all loose but three,

Gold fish will catch some flatheads if the gar don’t take them off.

The river is in its banks with some current.

We will be closed on Sunday and Monday until next March.

They are catching crappie, white bass and catfish off the bridge up against the dam. Minnows are the best bait.

On Friday, they were catching a variety of fish: bass, crappie, walleye, down in the coves out of the wind. Sounds like they are still catching them today (Saturday).

One boatload o fishermen said they caught fish. I’m guessing it was bass because they didn’t clean any crappie.
