Taberville Report

Dains Fish Farm

Fishing is pretty good. They are still catching all the fish they want. They are getting tired of cleaning fish,

Mostly flatheads. They are baiting with perch, bullheads, shad, carp.

I’ve seen several 50 lb. fish, 40, 30 and 25 flatheads.

They are fishing up and down from Taberville. Depends on whose fishing.

All on trotlines. I don’t have too many road and reelers fishing at all. Set the trotline bait about a foot off the bottom.

Crappie fishermen are doing pretty good.  They close down the south lake at Schell Oct. 15.

It’s belter fishing than it used to be. You can catch a lot bigger fish than you used to catch.
