Nature Boost!

There’s something special about being still and listening to nature. You may get to see squirrels crunching through the leaves, birds calling from branches or insects looking for food. This fascinating journey can make you curious about the natural world and may even support your mental health.

Have you ever felt more relaxed after sitting in a natural space for a while? Me too! According to a National Park Service article, using your listening skills for birdsongs and your animal observation skills has been shown to reduce stress and helps to boost your mood!

Join our guided Nature Journaling program on Saturday at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. to get your boost from nature! You will have the opportunity to continue journaling even after your session ends! All ages welcome, but registration is required for all.

Nature journaling allows so many ways to document your nature outings. A simple tufted titmouse sighting can be part of a list, a drawing, a poem or even a reminder to add gel too your shopping list to perfect your own spiky hairdo.
