The Cedar County Commission met March 3,2025. Present: Kenneth Thornton; Presiding Commissioner; Ron Alumbaugh, Northern Commissioner; Ted Anderson, Southern Commissioner; and Heather York, County Clerk.

Assessor Leah Morton presented weekly court orders 0212412025-0212812025.

Collector Lisa Nelson presented court orders 12 1744- 12 18 10.

Conference call with Victoria Barker, and Mirra Cornejo CCHD concerning septic and sewer updates and site inspections.

Mikayla Neil, MU Extension delivered monthly activity report.

Commission meeting adjourned from 9:45 a.m. to 11:OO a.m. to attend the funeral of former County Treasurer Joe Levi.

Conference webinar with MO DNR, MO DHSS, and CCHD to discuss the status of Airport Village and the Counties authority over this type of system. It was determined that this falls under the State’s jurisdiction.

Met with DJ Ford, Road & Bridge Supervisor for weekly status report.

Signed BRO-R020(001) Progress Invoice #3 CR1320 over Cedar Creek in the amount of $6,381.93.

Ty Gaither stopped in to visit with the commission and requested closed session.

3:25 p.m. Gaither left closed session. Commission remained to discuss the second and third part of the closed session.

Reviewed application for the part-time admin assistant position to the County Commission, one application was received.

Reviewed Annual Report of Opioid Settlement Expenditures from Missouri Department of Mental Health.

Commission reviewed Ameritrust Group Report relating to insurance claim No: PR2024007415, denying additional insurance coverage.
