CEDAR COUNTY COMMISSION

The Cedar County Commission met Monday, April 24, 2017. Present were – Marlon Collins, presiding commissioner; Don Boultinghouse, northern commissioner; Robert Foster, southern commissioner; Peggy Kenney, county clerk.

Minutes from April 17, 2017, Commission meeting were approved.

Met with Road & Bridge supervisor.

W.D. Sietz reported 1101 Rd north of 300 Rd was in need of repair.

Opened bids for yearly services

Met with James McCrary, sheriff.

Judy Nichols, Historical Society, discussed pictures on display at the courthouse.

Reviewed annual audit submitted by Cedar County Library

Motion by Collins to award Culvert Bid to West Pipe Company; Fuel to MFA; Gravel to Ash Grove Aggregates.

Second by Boultinghouse.

Collins-yes; Boultinghouse-yes; Foster-yes.

Bills and payroll were approved to be paid.

Met with Chad Pyle, assessor, to process court 22276 through 22290 to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.
