The Cedar County Commission met November 30, 2020. Present were: Marlon Collins, Presiding Commissioner; Don Boultinghouse, Northern Commissioner; Robert Foster, Southern Commissioner; Kendra Householder, Deputy County Clerk

Met with Chad Pyle, Assessor

Requests to process court order 259635-25989, to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.

Met with James McCrary, Sheriff

Jail Inmate Housing = 56

Finger print machine invoice provided.

Discussed GPS trackers in patrol cars.

Resident came in to request a mask mandate for County.

Met with DJ Ford, Road & Bridge Supervisor

Discussed location of equipment

Garry Nelson, St. Genevieve County Presiding Commissioner called to ask for information about face mask mandates within counties.

Resident came in to discuss his property line and water flow issue he might have.

Heath Oates, El Dorado School Superintendant called about Cares Act Funding for school. He will get us any  figures and supplies needed to move ahead.

Met with Devon Jarvis

Discussed CAFO Ordinance, permit deposit and when it will need to go in paper

Met with Arlo Rupke, Emergency Management

Discussed HMEP Grant and needed signatures

Motion by Boultinghouse to authorize HMEP Grant; second by Foster.  Foster – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes, Collins – Yes

Motion by Boultinghouse to approve Cares Act Funding to West Central & New Growth in the amount of $23,669.00; second by Foster.  Foster – Yes, Boultinghouse – Yes, Collins – Yes

Sign letter of Community Support for Federal Economic Development Administration Grant.

2021 Budget Request for Mo State Public Defender

Bills & Payroll approved.

Met with Assessor Staff

Requests to process court order #25990-26036, to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.

Resident requesting gravel on CR1125.

Met with Mikayla Fox, University Missouri Extension monthly report.

Resident requesting gravel on CR2325.

Met with Sheriff James McCrary Inmate Housing = 54

Discussed a road easement dispute in El Dorado Springs, working on rectifying situation.

Discussed annual copy machine maintenance contract with Modern Copy Systems.  Commission approved signing of contract, being paid out of Civil Funds.

Conference call with Michelle Leroux, Cedar County Memorial Hospital Board President to request implementation of a county wide mask mandate.  Discussion was held, commission declined to implement at this time.

Met with Superintendent Heath Oates, El Dorado Springs R2 School

Presented revisions requesting funds be adjusted for the Phase 1 Cares Act Grant Application that was previously submitted for reimbursement.  Revisions are due to actual cost coming in less than original quotes, requested relocating the remainder to an additional expense that was not originally requested for.  Commission reviewed revisions submitted and requested additional documentation before a decision can be mad e.  Heath will provide additional documentation.

DJ Ford, Road & Bridge Supervisor, not present due to annual bridge inspection with MODOT.

Reviewed ATIS Elevator Inspection for courthouse, monthly fee reports for Recorder of Deeds, and Circuit Clerk Offices.

Set Cares Act Funding meeting for 12/11/2020 at 8:00 a.m.

Bills were approved.
