In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On October 29, 2019, officers responded to a delayed report of a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of $163.00 from a debit card. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 29, 2019, officers responded to 500 South Ohio concerning a reported assault. Several juvenile suspects were identified and referred to the Juvenile Office.

On October 29, 2019, officers responded to 1509 South Missouri 32 Highway concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues.

On November 1, 2019, officers arrested Tagger L. Kellum, 25, of El Dorado Springs for Vernon County Warrants, charging him with No seatbelt and Speeding, with a $133.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 1, 2019, officers arrested Kristina L. Spencer, 35, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Fail to Appear Per Court Order with the original charge of Dog Regulations, with a $673.50 bond.  She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 1, 2019, officer arrested Kristie R. Joplin, 44 of Nevada, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear Per Court Order with a $327.50 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 1, 2019, officers responded to 501 North First Street concerning a reported suspicious vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrests of John J. Cox 38, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Trespassing and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Gina M. Riboni, 46, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with Trespassing and Fail to Affix plate to motor vehicle. They were released on summonses pending court appearances.

On November 2, 2019, officers arrested Melisha D. Page, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Probation and Parole Warrant with no bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On November 3, 2019, officers responded to 805 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported motor vehicle arson fire. A report taken and the investigation continues.
