In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Law enforcement activities

The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 107 requests for assistance this past week, Nov. 25-Dec 1. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance 22, Animal Control 6, Assist Other Agencies 21, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 0, All Other Requests for Assistance 57, Summons 22.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On November 25, 2019, officers responded to 601 East Joe Davis concerning a reported Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tyler P. Poore, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Third Degree Domestic Assault, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Property Damage. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.  

On November 25, 2019, officers responded to 100 South Main concerning a suspicious person. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Louis M. Stockdale, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Littering and Manner of Pedestrian Travel. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On November 25, 2019, officers responded to 106 East Poplar concerning an Assault. A juvenile suspect has been identified and referred to the Juvenile Office.

On November 25, 2019, officers arrested Daniel C. Halverson, 26, of Milo, for Vernon County Warrants, charging him with Burglary and Stolen Vehicle with a $2,500.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance. 

On November 26, 2019 officers responded to 316 West Spring concerning a reported utility tampering/theft of utilities. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jessica M. Thompson, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Larceny and Tampering with Utilities. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On November 26, 2019, officers responded to 310 West Spring concerning a reported utility tampering/theft of utilities. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Darrell W. Gant, 61, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Larceny and Tampering with Utilities. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On November 26, 2019, officers arrested Shawnda R Pulley, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid License. She was released on summons pending a court appearance. 

On November 26, 2019, officers arrested Charles Dice Jr, 24, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Speeding with a $88.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance. 

On November 27, 2019, officers responded to 319 West Spring in reference to utility tampering and theft. A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 27, 2019, officers responded to 300 West A Street concerning a reported trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Heather L. Benenhaley, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Second Degree Trespassing. She was released on summons pending a court appearance. 

On November 27, 2019, officers responded to 302 A South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a cell phone. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues. 

On November 27, 2019, officers responded to 801 East Gentry concerning a Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jessica D. Beard, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Fourth Degree Domestic Assault and Violation of an Order of Ex-Parte. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On November 28, 2019, officers arrested Nicholas D. Mitchel, 29, of Appleton City, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant on the original charge of trespassing. He was transported to St. Clair County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. 

On November 29, 2019, officers arrest of Chadd A. Ellison, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Bicycles-Lights and Reflectors required, Possession of Amphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Forgery. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.  

On November 29, 2019, officers responded to 315 East Fields #D concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tina M. Applebee, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a $170.00 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance. 

On November 30, 2019, officers responded to 315 East Fields, Apt. D, concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of John D. Donahue, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Peace Disturbance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.
