The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 135 requests for assistance this past week, Dec. 2-Dec.8. The requests were as follows:

Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On December 3, 2019, officers responded 113 West Walnut Street concerning a reported fire. The investigation resulted in the arrest of John W. Sant Jr, 17, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault on Law Enforcement, Minor in Possession and Resisting Arrest. He was release on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On December 3, 2019, Destiny E. Alexander, 18, of El Dorado Springs, was arrested for the probable cause of Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Keep Right, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign and Speeding. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On December 4, 2019, officers responded to 315 East Fields concerning a reported domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Dahkota  M. Johnson, 29, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Endangerment of a Child. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On December 4, 2019, officers arrested Cory D. Payton, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Felony Abuse. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. 

On December 4, 2019, officers arrested Heather M. Willmore, 33, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Felony Dangerous Drugs. She was released on recognizance. 

On December 4, 2019, officers responded to 410 South Forest concerning a reported suspicious person. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tiffany A.  Williams, 43, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a $333.50 bond. She was released on recognizance. 

On December 4, 2019, officers arrest Emily N. Stowell, 20, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear per Court Order on the original charge of Peace Disturbance with a $401.00 bond. She was released on recognizance. 

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to 1008 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft a camouflage purse containing identification cards and debit cards.  A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a container of alcoholic beverage. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to 110 South Grand Street concerning a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by the owner.  A report taken and the investigation continues.  

On December 5, 2019, officers arrested Melinda G Goth, 42, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Stealing and Forgery with a $5000.00 bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. 

On December 5, 2019, officers arrested Cody A. Boultinghouse for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Trafficking in Stolen Identities, Stealing, Forgery, and Possession of a Forging Instrument with a $25,000.00, bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. 

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to 406 East Marshall in reference to a tampering/theft of utilities.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to the 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of a shopping cart. The cart was later recovered and returned. A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to the 400 South Park concerning an assault. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On December 5, 2019, officers responded to 206 South Main concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft a laptop computer and US Currency. A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 6, 2019, officers responded to 1020 South Park Street concerning a report of fire damage to a building.  A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 7, 2019, officers responded to 407 South Vernon concerning a subject with Vernon County Felony Warrants. The investigation resulted in the arrest of David R. Burns, 40, of Walker, for multiple Vernon County Warrants. He was transferred to Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. The continued investigation resulted in the arrest of Stephanie K. Pierce, 50, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Hindering Prosecution/Obstruction. She was released on summons pending a court appearance. 

On December 7, 2019, officers arrested Christopher Applebee, 22, and Chadd A Ellison, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as the result of a traffic stop.  They were released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On December 7, 2019, officers arrested Diamond L.  (Applebee) Marshall, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear per Court Order with a $176.00 bond and the probable cause of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  She was released on recognizance and summons pending a court appearance.

On December 8, 2019, officers responded to 304 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Harold E. Preston, 53, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance. 

On December 8, 2019, officers responded to 206 South Maple Drive concerning a reported suspicious vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Vincent R Mansell Jr, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for two St. Clair County Warrants, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Display Plates with a total bond of $237.00. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On December 9, 2019, officers arrest of Rutger T. Crawford, 23, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Obstruction with a $296.00 bond. He was released on recognizance pending a court appearance. 

On December 9, 2019, officers responded to 1601 South Vernon concerning a reported domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Darrel E. Bartkoski, 26, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On December 10, 2019, officers responded to 804 South Grand concerning a reported stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a red 2020 Tao Tao Scooter 150cc.  A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 11, 2019, officers responded to 211 West Oak Street concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Darin E. Lumley, 49, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Resisting Arrest and Peace Disturbance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance. 

On December 12, 2019, officers responded to 306 West Lafayette concerning a reported a larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of a jigsaw. A suspect was identified, report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 13, 2019, officers responded to 205 North Ohio Street concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Rhett A. Lunsford, 24, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance. 

On December 13, 2019, officers responded to 229 West Pine concerning a reported burglary.  The investigation revealed the theft of a table and cell phone. A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 13, 2019, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported shoplifting. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 13, 2019, officers responded to 1707 South Elm concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a wallet with US currency, debit and other cards. A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 13, 2019, Officers responded to 1301 East Industrial Parkway, Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, concerning a reported assault. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 14, 2019, officers responded to 206 West Cruce concerning a reported larceny of a bicycle. The investigation revealed the theft of a dark blue and orange men’s 29 inch Mongoose Exhibit bicycle.  A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On December 15, 2019, officers responded to 309 West Carmen concerning a reported domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Cory D. Martin, 44, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault and for a Newton County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of no seat belt with a $10.00 fine.  Officers completed a probable cause statement for Second Degree Domestic Assault and Third Degree Domestic Assault.
