Nov 7 Officers received report of leaving the scene of an accident on the 100 block of North Main . Investigation led to the arrest of Samantha L. Smitherman, 25, El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Novr 8 – Arrests: James W. Varner, 47, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, for probation violation on the original charge of assault first degree with no bond, but to be released after five days. He was transported to Cedar County Sheriff’s office to serve the five days.

Shaeffer B. Johnson, 18, f Osceola, for Vernon County warrant  charging him with three counts of second degree arson, with bond of $20,000 cash or surety and St. Clair County warrant charging him with three counts of second degree arson with a release on recognizance bond. He was released on bond on Vernon County warrant and released on recognizance bond on St Clair County warrant pending court appearances.   

Officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, #23, concerning a reported assault. Suspect identified and  investigation continuing.

Nov 9 – Officers responded to 901 South Grand, El Dorado Springs High School, concerning a reported assault. Juvenile suspect identified and referred Juvenile Office.

Arrest: James A. Mansell, 32,  El Dorado Springs, for disorderly conduct in the Park, in the Park after dark and peace disturbance by fighting. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Nov 10 – Officers responded to 511 South Ohio concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a license plate and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 303 West Pine concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of fuel and investigation is continuing.

Arrests: Walter D. Wilkerson, 53, El Dorado Springs, for driving while suspended. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Charles B. Gillan, 35, Collins, for domestic assault 3rd degree. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Veronica Blake, 31, Nevada, for a Nevada Municipal Warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of petty theft, with a bond of $350 cash only.  Blake was released on recognizance per the Nevada Municipal Court.

Nov 11 – Officer responded to 312 West 54 Hwy for a report of shoplifting.  Investigation led to the arrest of Timothy A. Mogan, 53,  El Dorado Springs, for shoplifting. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Arrests: Clifford D Bryant, 48,  El Dorado Springs, for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and failure to keep right. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Shannon C. Burns, 39, El Dorado Springs, for trespassing. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Nov 12 – Officers responded to Casey’s General Store at 100 East  Hwy 54, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of $32 worth of gas and investigation continuing.

Nov 13 – Arrests: Michael Murphy Jr, 22,  El Dorado Springs, for property damage.  He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Justin T Johnson, 21,  Osceola, for St. Clair County w arrant for arson, with a cash only bond of $30,000, Cedar County warrant for arson with a $2,000 cash or surety bond and Vernon County warrant for arson with a $20,000 cash or surety bond. He was transferred to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance.

Officers responded to 317 South Ohio concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed the theft of three boxes macaroni and cheese, suspect identified investigation continuing.
