The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 129 requests for assistance this past week, May 9-15. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 14, Animal Control 7, Assist Other Agencies 16, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 12, All Other Requests for Assistance 80, Summons 14.

Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On May 9, 2022, officers responded to a larceny at 2300 East 70th Road. The investigation revealed the theft of a #6 bare copper wire and copper connectors from utility poles. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On May 9, 2022, officers arrested Eddie F. Hines, 65, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Suspended. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On May 11, 2022, officers arrested Amanda M. Miller, 29, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Possession of less than 35 grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On May 12, 2022, officers arrested Chad A. Littleton, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Suspended, No Proof of Insurance, and Failed to Display a Valid Plate. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On May 12, 2022, officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, apartment 40, concerning a domestic assault. A suspect had been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On May 13, 2022, officers responded to 1010 South Main concerning a Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Alicia D. Janes, 44, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Domestic Assault and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On May 14, 2022 officer arrested Shawnda R. Pulley, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Trespass, with a $157.00 bond and a Vernon County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Shoplifting with a $250.00 cash bond. She was transferred to Vernon County pending a court appearance.

On May 15, 2022, officers arrested Christopher S. Christensen, 25, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Paraphernalia with a $231.50 bond. He was released after a court appearance.

On May 15, 2022, I responded to 100 South Main Street for a report of an assault. Juvenile suspects have been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Police Report
On May 16, 2022, officers arrested Delayne K. Hashagen, 79, of El Dorado Springs for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Fail to Appear on the original charges of Traffic Offense with a $250.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On May 16, 2022, officers responded to 300 West Hainline Road, City Cemetery, concerning suspicious persons. The investigation revealed evidence of controlled substances. Five juvenile suspects were identified and referred to the Juvenile Office for the probable cause of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On May 16, 2022, officers arrested Clifford O. Wood, 60, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Revoked. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On May 17, 2022, officers responded to 609 South Kirkpatrick Street concerning an assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Steven S. Due, 42, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of 2nd Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Resisting Arrest. Officer completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Due was released pending a warrant.

On May 17, 2022, officers responded to 1106 South Park concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a red, 2 gallon gasoline can. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On May 17, 2022, officers arrested Tasha F. Storandt, 24, of El Dorado Springs, for a Jefferson County Warrant, charging her with Stealing with a $4000.00 cash bond, a Polk County Warrant charging her with Fail to Appear on the original charge of No Insurance with a cash bond of $300.00 and Fail to Appear on the original charge of Speeding with a $300.00 cash bond. She was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances.

On May 19, 2022, officers arrested James M. Rigg, 30, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Revoked. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On May 19, 2022, officers arrested Misty M. Rock, 42, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Parental Kidnapping with no bond. She transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On May 20, 2022 officers arrested Christopher A. Gray, 31, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Resisting Arrest with an $826.50 bond. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On May 20, 2022, officers arrested Shane O. Wright, 44, of Nevada, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Fail to Register Vehicle with a $99.00 bond. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.
