Dec 26  – Officers responded to 400 South Park concerning a reported burglary. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 805 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported domestic assault. Suspect has been identified and                     investigation continues.

Officers responded to 211 West Hightower concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of homemade go cart with  212cc Predator motor.  Investigation continues.

Dec 27 – Officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed the theft of Dremel tool and Milwaukee cordless drill.  Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 800 North Main concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. Investigation revealed the theft of a 1998 GMC pickup truck.  Vehicle was recovered in Stockton and returned to owner. Investigation continues.

Arrests: Dorian C Bartlett, 46,  El Dorado Springs, for a Phelps County warrant charging him with dangerous drugs, possession of controlled substance with a bond of $50,000. He was transferred to Phelps County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Stephanie M Higgins, 32, El Dorado Springs, for three active Cedar County probationviolation warrants on the original charges of assault 1st degree, driving while revoked, assault 3rd degree, peace disturbance, theft of over $500, tampering with  motor vehicle and failed to drive on the right half of roadway causing an accident with no bond.  She was transferred to the Cedar County jail.

Officers responded to 135 West Spring concerning a reported assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Charles S Green, 39, El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Dec 28 – Officers responded to 100 block of West Fields concerning reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of cheese. Juvenile suspects have been identified and referred to the juvenile office.

Arrest: Terry J Sieleman 37, Appleton City, for driving while suspended and two St. Clair County warrants, failure to appear with the original charge of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, with a $20,000 cash only bond and for failure to appear with the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with a $10,000 cash only bond. He transferred to the St. Clair County jail pending bond and jcourt appearance.

Officers responded to 800 North Main oncerning a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Patrick L. Decker, 27, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of felony domestic assault. Officers completed a probable cause statement for this charge. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Decker with a Class C Felony of domestic assault with a bond of $15,000.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Dec 29 – Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by the Bate County Sheriff’s Tactical Team and the Cedar County Sheriff’s office served a search warrant at 200 McCrary Circle, Apt 23, after officers received information of illegal drug activity and the presence of an armed fugitive. Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia and firearm were located. Investigation resulted in arrest of Joseph (Gabe) McMannis, 36, El Dorado Springs, on three felony warrants for probation violations on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance with no bond, possess w/intent to dist/del/manf/produce a controlled substance with no bond and possess w/intent to dist/del/manf/produce a controlled Substance with a $100,000 cash or surety bond. McMannis transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.  Also arrested was Brittney M Trussell, 25, El Dorado Springs, charging her with possession of drug paraphernalia. She was release on summons. Additional charges are expected in this case.

Officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle concerning a reported larceny.  Investigation revealed the theft of a phone. Investigation resulted in the arrest of David T. Smith, 20, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of stealing. Officer completed a probable cause statement for this charge. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging him with Class A misdemeanor of stealing with a $2,000 cash only bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Oficers responded to 805 North Jackson concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of US Currency. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Edward E Whitter, 56, El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Arrest: Michael B Owens, 31, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with prior offender residing within 1000 feet of a school with a bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 227 West Hwy 54, Pete’s convenience store, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of $26.88 of fuel.  Investigation continues.

Dec 30 – Officers responded to 406 South Allison concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 417 West Industrial Drive concerning a stolen vehicle. Vehicle recovered that had been stolen from Stockton. Investigation continues. Vehicle returned to owner.

Arrests: Juliette E Smith, 46,  El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while revoked and tag lamp. She was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Chadd A Ellison, 18, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while revoked. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 313 South Forrest concerning a reported larceny.  Investigation revealed the theft of clothing and a set of headphones. Suspects have been identified and investigation continues.

Dec 31 – Officers responded to 610 North Main concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. Investigation revealed the theft of 1994 Dodge Ram truck. Vehicle  recovered Jan 1, 2017, and returned to owner. ˆnvestigation continues.

Officers responded to 123 West McCrary concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of electricity. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Joseph A Bartkoski, 31, El Dorado Springs, charging him with larceny. He was released on summons pending  court appearance.

Arrest: Dennis K Mingucci, 60, Stockton, charging him with driving while suspended. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 225 West Joe Davis concerning a reported assault.  Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.
