In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Dec 12 – Officers responded to 109 West Broadway, Treasure Hunt, concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that forced entry was made and US Currency was stole from the cash register. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Makynzie L. Raines, 17, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging her with fail to appear on the original charge of assault with a bond of $175.50. She was release after a court appearance.

Officers responded to 312 West Hwy, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny of a wallet. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Dec 13 – Arrests: Aron P. Zimmer, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for a parole violation warrant, on the original charges of possession of controlled substance, domestic assault 2nd degree, four counts of burglary 2nd degree and driving while revoked with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

Mitchell R. Trammel, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging him with probation violation on the original charge of distribution, delivery, manufacture, or production of a controlled substance with no bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 215 South Main, What Not 2, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a purple coat with the word “Korea” on the back with two dragons on the sleeves. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Dec 14: Arrests: Brandon L. Parker, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of operate a vehicle on highway without a valid license, with a $350 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields Street, trailer #9, concerning a fugitive from justice. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Christopher N Jackson, 38, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging him with resisting arrest for a felony with a $10,000 cash bond, Mary K. Toney, 43, and Roy D. Hall, 42, El Dorado Springs, charging them with obstruction.  Jackson was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.  Toney and Hall were released on summonses pending a court appearance.   

Christopher N Jackson, 38, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing from Meek’s. He was issued a citation.

Officers responded to 209 South Forest, concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence and articles of clothing such as shirts, coats, jackets, trousers and check books were stolen. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Dec 15 – Officers responded to 503 East Gentry, concerning a larceny from a vehicle.  The investigation revealed a tool box was stolen from the trunk of a car. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officer responded to 901 South Grand, the El Dorado Springs High School, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of money from a back pack inside a locker. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Steven A. Caudill, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and stealing and a Cedar County warrant, charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Dec 16 – Officers responded to 808 South Main, the John D. Smith Library, concerning a reported larceny of a bicycle. The investigation revealed the theft of a 20 inch, Mongoose bicycle.  The bicycle was located and returned to the owner.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Dec 17 – Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a candy bar. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Lauren G. Thornton, 25, of Jerico Springs, charging her with stealing (shoplifting). She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 409 East Broadway concerning a report of property damage. The investigation revealed that an antenna wire had been cut to the residence in the past months. A report taken and the investigation continues.
