The St. Clair County Commission met Monday, Nov. 25, with Robert Salmon, presiding commissioner; Leroy Strope, north commissioner; Gerald Williams, south commission; Debbie Peden, county clerk and Lori Rowe, administrative assistant present.

The Commissioners had a general discussion about the location and condition of equipment and the road conditions. Also discussed were upcoming bridge inspections.

Spencer Jones, of Great River Engineering, met with the commission to discuss the completion of the roadway approaches to the bridge on NW 750 Rd.

CART Revenues were $55,403.13. $39,788.64 was the portion going to Common Road District. Out of these revenues, funds were allocated to the following Special Road Districts: Appleton City Special $2,760.14; Chloe Special $,813.80; Hillsdale Special $1,813.80; Collins Special $3,548.75; Osceola Special $2,917.86; and Vista Special $2,760.14.

Note: CART is County Aid Road Trust. This is the County’s portion of Missouri Motor Fuel Tax. Motor vehicle sales tax and motor vehicle license fee increases.

Commission met Wednesday, Dec. 4, with all present.

The Commissioners discussed the condition of equipment and roads still needing attention. The State Department of Transportation will begin bridge inspections in the county on Dec. 9

The Commissioners met with Teresa Heckenlively, St. Clair County Economic Developer. Among other topics discussed, was an inquiry about the availability of property adjacent to Rail Service.

The Commissioners discussed the condition of equipment and roads. Commissioner Williams made a motion to approve the Land Commissioner’s Sale of lots 3 and 4 at Twin Oaks Harbor to Richard Brown for $389. Motion carried.

Presiding Commissioner Salmon signed the Cooperative Agreement for Child Support Services for Bates, Henry and St. Clair Counties; to claim reimbursement for allowable child support related activities.

The Commissioners discussed the loction of equipment and also any road issues that were reported.

Mike Keith presented the Commission with the 2020 property and casualty insurance policies for the county.

Commissioner Salmon gave a report on the Workforce Development meeting that he attended in Sedalia on Dec. 10.

The St. Clair County Commission met Monday, Dec. 16, with all present.

Jamie Roth with St. Clair County State Bank met with the Commission, treasurer and the county clerk to discuss changes due to online banking capabilities, which have been implemented at the bank.

The Commission spoke with Great River Engineering about programming of two bridges for replacement. Great River is to call next Monday about getting on the agenda.

Due to recent vacancies, the Commission discussed the need for additional employees in the Road and bridge Department.
