Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made six arrests and took multiple reports during the week of June 15th, 2021 through June 21st, 2021.

Davidson, Tommy – On June 15th, Tommy Davidson, 41, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Henry County warrant for an Infraction charge of Driver/Front Seat Passenger Fail to Wear Properly Adjusted/Fastened Safety Belt. The bond was set at $10.00 cash only.

Henry, William – On June 16th, William Henry, 47, Rogersville, was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for a Misdemeanor charge of Stealing. During intake, it was reported Henry County had two Traffic warrants and Platte County had a traffic warrant for William. William was transferred to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $1,630.00 cash only and $250.00 cash or surety.

Greer, Flint – On June 17th, Flint Greer, 31, Stockton, was arrested by Greene County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, a Misdemeanor charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Misdemeanor charge of Trespassing – 1st Degree, and a Misdemeanor charge of Harassment – 1st Degree. Flint was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $7,500.00 cash only.

Hughes, William – On June 18th, William Hughes, 41, Montrose, was arrested by Platte County Sheriff’s Office on one St. Clair County warrant and one Henry County warrant, each for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. William was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety, and $824.00 cash only.

Wood, Brandon – On June 19th, Brandon Wood, 29, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Felony charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. Brandon was booked and released, pending formal charges.

Foster, Richard – On June 19th, Richard Foster, 35, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for two Henry County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor warrants. The bond was set at $500.00 cash or surety, and $131.00 cash only.

Theft in Lowry City

On June 17th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to the BP Gas Station, in Lowry City, in reference to a fuel drive-off. Upon making contact with the victim, it was reported that a white male in a black in color Infiniti SUV had mistakenly pumped another individual’s fuel, and when noting his mistake, stated he would obtain his debit card to pay, and fled the gas station. The total price of the fuel stolen was $26.00.

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made five arrests and took multiple reports during the week of June 22nd, 2021 through June 28th, 2021.

Hilliard, Raymond – On June 22nd, Raymond Hilliard, 43, Weaubleau, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm – Dangerous Felon, and a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The total bond was set at $30,000.00 cash or surety.

Clark, Nathan – On June 24th, Nathan Clark, 43, Independence, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Harassment – 1st Degree. Nathan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $20,000.00 cash or surety.

Vandenburg, Ashley – On June 24th, Ashley Vandenburg, 32, Nevada, was arrested at the St. Clair County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The bond was set at $5,000.00 cash or surety.

Lawrence, Randy Sr. – On June 26th, Randy Lawrence Sr. 57, Belton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Misdemeanor charge of DWI – Prior. Randy was booked and released pending formal charges.

Herdman, Tamara – On June 28th, Tamara Herdman, 54, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 1st Offense. Tamara was booked and released pending formal charges.

Stolen/Located Vehicle out of Lowry City

On June 23rd, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Mike’s Tire and Auto in Lowry City, in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the victim, whom reported that a white in color 1998 Ford F-250 truck was stolen from in front of one of the vehicle bays that morning. During the investigation, it was noted that the vehicle appeared to have left the area, travelling East on Main Street.

On June 25th, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office was notified that the stolen vehicle was located in Garden City, and had been towed to Raymore, Missouri. It was also reported that the catalytic converter had been cut out.

Theft at Boy Scout Camp

On June 23rd, a St. Clair County deputy responded via telephone to a call in reference to stolen property. Upon making contact with the victim, it was reported that the victim and the victim’s son were staying at the Camp Piercing Arrow at the Boy Scout Reservation on the night of June 22nd. In the middle of the night, the victim’s vehicle had been broken into, a work laptop belonging to KC Southern, and the victim’s son’s iPhone 11 had been stolen.

Tampering/Vandalism in Osceola

On June 25th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service at the Assembly of God church in Osceola, in reference to suspicious activity. It was reported by dispatch that two male subjects were attempting to remove the catalytic converter from the white in color van for the church. One of the subjects had short hair, a tattoo on his shoulder, and was wearing a red shirt, while the other male had a cloth jacket, (hoodie), on. The two male subjects were reported to be in a red in color, early 2000’s Ford Pickup that had air conditioner compressors in the back.

Stealing/Theft in Lowry City

On June 26th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to NE 401 Road in Lowry City in reference to a stolen catalytic converter from the victim’s motor home. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the victim, whom reported that between the das of June 22nd and June 26th, someone had gone underneath the victim’s motor home and removed the catalytic converter. The total value of loss was estimated to be $2,000.00. Photographs of the motor home were taken, and a canvas of the area found that the neighbors had not seen anything unusual.

Property Damage in Appleton City

On June 27th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to a call for service on East Arbor Street in Appleton City in reference to someone throwing concrete blocks through windows of a residence. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim, whom reported that someone had taken two halves of a 4 inch concrete cap block and threw one through the window on the East side of the residence, and one through a window on the South side of the residence. Nothing was reported missing from the residence, and (a) suspect(s) was(were) named.

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made six arrests and took multiple reports during the week of June 29th, 2021 through July 5th, 2021.

Johnson, Cassandra – On June 29th, Cassandra Johnson, 35, Windsor, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Misdemeanor charge of Passing Bad Checks, and a Henry County warrant for a Felony charge of Passing Bad Checks. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety, and $200.00 cash only.

Beard, Jessica – On July 1st, Jessica Beard, 30, El Dorado Springs, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

Harris, Charles – On July 1st, Charles Harris, 25, Kansas, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Kansas warrant for a Felony charge of Receiving Stolen Property, and a St. Clair County Felony charge of Tampering with Property of Another – 2nd Degree (Prior Conviction/Finding Guilt Under 570.030). Charles was held on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges for St. Clair County, and held on No Bond for the Kansas Warant.

Lambert, Tammy – On July 2nd, Tammy Lambert, 57, Kansas City, was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Tammy was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.

Tompkins, John – On July 3rd, John Tompkins, 44, Collins, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 1st Offense. The bond was set at $350.00 cash only.

Nall, Lonnie Sr. – On July 5th, Lonnie Nall Sr., 60, Warsaw, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree, and a Misdemeanor charge of Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Detention, or Stop. The bond was set at $15,000.00 cash only.

Gardner, Johney – On July 6th, Johney Gardner, 54, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by Cass County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant with an original Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Johney was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $5,000.00 cash only.

Mycek, Brandon – On July 7th, Brandon Mycek, 45, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for an Infraction of Trespassing – 2nd Degree. Brandon was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and held on a 24 hour hold.

Watkins, Kyle – On July 7th, Kyle Watkins, 35, Elk Grove, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Tampering with Motor Vehicle – 1st Degree. The bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.

Seek, James – On July 8th, James Seek, 35, Collins, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Felony charge of Property Damage – 2nd Degree. James was booked and released pending formal charges.

Brown, James – On July 9th, James Brown, 28, Lake of the Ozarks, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor Traffic Warrant. James was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $250.00 cash or surety.

Harrison, Leslie – On July 9th, Leslie Harrison, 29, Flemington, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear Ordinance for Speeding in a School Zone 16-20 Mph Over. Leslie was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $150.00 cash only.

Collins, Steven – On July 9th, Steven Collins, 34, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on two St. Clair County warrants. The first is for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The second is a Failure to Appear on a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/ Suspended – 1st Offense.

                                                                                                        

Willis, Rocky – On July 10th, Rocky Willis, 43, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Misdemeanor charge of Possession of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid of 10 Grams or Less – Prior Drug Offense, a Misdemeanor charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense, and a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Rocky was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest was made after the vehicle that Rocky was the passenger of, was stopped for a registration violation. During the stop, K9 Officer Havik was called to the location and alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle, and after Rocky exited the vehicle, Havik also alerted to the grass that Rocky was walking on. A quantity of crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, a quantity of marijuana, and rolling papers were found in the search of the vehicle and Rocky’s person.

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made seven arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 13th, 2021 through July 19th, 2021.

Sieleman, Quentin – On July 13th, Quentin Sieleman, 18, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by El Dorado Springs Police Department on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant for the original charge of Operate Motor Vehicle Owned By Another Knowing Owner of Vehicle Has Not Maintained Financial Responsibility – 1st Offense. Quentin was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set $219.00 cash only.

Mitchell, Ashley – On July 15th, Ashley Mitchell, 30, Montrose, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant for an original Felony charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended, and an El Dorado Springs Police Department Failure to Appear warrant for Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 2nd or 3rd Offense. The bond was set at a total of $2,500.00 cash or surety and $534.50 cash only.

Amenson, Mark – On July 15th, Mark Amenson, 41, Independence, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Tampering with Motor Vehicle – 1st Degree, a Felony charge of Stealing, and a Felony charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. The bond was set at $15,000.00 cash only.

The arrest was made after the vehicle that Mark was the driver of, was reported to be stolen and travelling down 13 Highway. Multiple deputies from St. Clair County pursued Mark down 13  Highway and eventually down SE 800 Road, to which dead ends into the lake. Mark, at that time, drove his vehicle straight into the lake, exited the vehicle, and swam out into the water. The deputies made multiple verbal commands, while one deputy entered the water in pursuit, when Mark turned around and complied with the verbal commands. A search of Mark’s person included a quantity of a crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, a quantity of a black substance believed to be black tar heroin, and a broken glass pipe. Mark was taken into custody and transported to the St. Clair County Jail, with charges pending in Henry County.

Warstler, Lonnie – On July 15th, Lonnie Warstler, 36, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 2nd or 3rd Degree. Lonnie was booked and released, pending formal charges.

Moore, Bradford – On July 17th, Bradford Moore, 43, Osceola, was arrested by Clinton Police Department on a St. Clair County charge for Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree. Bradford was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $1,000.00 cash only.

The arrest was made when St. Clair County deputies responded to a call for service at Casey’s General Store in Osceola, in reference to a person behind the dumpsters claiming that an individual had bit her eyebrows off. Upon making contact with the victim, the deputies immediately observed a deep laceration and skin hanging from her left eyebrow, which was reported to be caused by Bradford after a disagreement during dinner.

Nunez, Brandon – On July 18th, Brandon Nunez, 25, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Jackson County Failure to Appear Infraction warrant. Brandon was booked and released, pending formal charges.

Taylor, Aaron – On July 19th, Aaron Taylor, 29, was arrested by Taney County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for a Probation Violation. Aaron was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $1,000.00 cash only.

Attempted Theft in Appleton City

On July 15th, St. Clair County deputies responded to West 7th Street in Appleton City in reference to an attempt to steal a catalytic converter. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the victim, who reported that at 1:30 a.m., upon hearing an unusual noise outside, found a male wearing a dark-colored t-shirt underneath their grey in color 2003 Ford F-350 Truck, cutting the exhaust. The male fled the scene immediately, and got into a small light-colored car heading North on KK Highway. The estimated cost to repair the damage was $30.00.

Message from the Sheriff

Recently, throughout a string of vehicle thefts in this county and the surrounding counties, it has been noticed that a large quantity of said stolen vehicles still had the keys in the vehicle before the theft. This makes it easier for the thief, and enables crimes of opportunity. Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to remind everyone to remove their car keys from their vehicles, and to always lock your vehicle doors.

Arrests

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made six arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 20th, 2021 through July 26th, 2021.

Vance, Megan – On July 20th, Megan Vance, 24, Collins, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy, at the Probation and Parole Office, on two Polk County Failure to Appear warrants, and on a St. Clair County warrant for two counts of a Felony D charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and a Misdemeanor Class A charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense. Megan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $15,000.00 cash or surety.

The original arrest stems from an investigation done in Collins, back in January of 2021, in which Megan was found at a residence, in possession of marijuana paraphernalia, needles that tested positive for methamphetamine, and a quantity of pills that were noted to be a controlled substance.

Hill, Cher’Bria – On July 20th, Cherbria Hill, 21, Springfield, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended – 1st Degree, and a charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child – 2nd Degree. Cherbria was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, where she was book and released.

The arrest was made when the vehicle Cher’Bria was the driver of, was stopped by a St. Clair County deputy for a speeding violation. Upon making contact with Cher’Bria, the deputy noted that two children, one five years of age and the other being one year of age, were sitting in the back seat of the vehicle without a booster seat or seat belt on. At this time, MULES/NCIC reported that Cher’Bria had a revoked license, and she was taken into custody for the aforementioned charges.

Eaton, Jerry – On July 21st, Jerry Eaton, 49, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Hickory County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor warrant. Jerry was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $500.00 cash or surety.

Roberts, Aaron – On July 22nd, Aaron Roberts, 45, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant for the original charge of Domestic Assault – 4th Degree – 1st or 2nd Offense, and a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony D charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Aaron was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at a total of $15,000.00 cash or surety.

Fuelling, Canaan – On July 26th, Canaan Fuelling, 24, Hartville, was arrested by Laclede County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for Misdemeanor Class A charge of Non-Support. Canaan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $1,000.00 cash only.

Gonzales, Kayne – On July 26th, Kayne Gonzales, 26, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree. Kayne was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and was booked and released, pending formal charges.

The arrest was made when St. Clair County deputies responded to Lowry City in reference to a disturbance that had occurred at a different location. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Kayne, who reported that he and the victim had got into an argument, and that he wanted his clothing. Upon making contact with the victim, it was reported that Kayne had struck him/her with a closed fist, multiple times, before leaving the house.

Stealing in Rockville

On July 23rd, a St. Clair County deputy responded via telephone to a call for service in regards to stolen property. Upon contacting the victim, it was reported that on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021, at 8:30 p.m., the victim discovered his/her 72 inch, black in color, Brush Grappler, was missing. The estimated value of the stolen property was valued at $3,200.00.

Burglary in Appleton City

On July 27th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Beech Street, in Appleton City, in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the victim whom reported that on July 25th, it was discovered that the victim’s garage door had been picked open. Further investigation showed that the victim was missing a money bag containing $6,500.00 in cash.
