Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 26, 2023 through January 1, 2024

December 26, 2023- St. Clair County deputies conducted a traffic stop on East 2nd Street in Appleton City. Angel Bollig was arrested for Driving While Revoked/Suspended and Driving While Intoxicated.

December 26, 2023- St. Clair County deputies received a walk in at the Sheriff’s Office regarding a stolen vehicle. Vehicle stolen is a 2004 Ford F250 maroon in color with Fennewald Plumbing decals on the sides.

December 26, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Russell Morris on a Missouri State Highway Patrol ticket for Driver Fail to Secure Child < 8 Y/O In Child Restraint or Booster Seat. Bond is $112 cash only.

December 26, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Old Highway 13 south of Vista for a suspicious vehicle. Driver claimed to be lost. Deputies advised of directions to get where he needed to go. Deputies observed driver driving off the roadway and conducted traffic stop. Mitchel Clark was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

December 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies served a warrant arrest to Travis Hood at the St. Clair County Jail on an Osceola Police Department arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance.

December 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 200 Road in Osceola for a report of property damage. Headstone had permanent marker damage. Investigation is ongoing.

December 27, 2023- St. Clair County deputies received a walk-in at the Sheriff’s Office in regards to submitting an informational report for property damage. Report was taken.

December 28, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast Business 82 in regards to a medical call. Upon arriving subject was not breathing. Deputies performed CPR until medics arrived on scene. Subject was pronounced deceased.

December 28, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 250 Road in Osceola for a report of a stolen bike. Bike is a Honda VT 1100 and was recovered by St. Clair County deputies.

December 29, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Vincent Mansell at the St. Joseph Department of Corrections on St. Clair County warrants for Stealing- $750 or more, Trespassing-2nd Degree, and Possession of Controlled Substance. Total bond is $10,000 cash only.

December 31, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 1131 Road in Gerster for a report of a burglary. Items stolen include cast iron wood stove, stove pipe, one white kerosene and one brown kerosene heater, black Ozark trail camping cot, two outdoor solar motion lights, two 30lb propane cylinders, porta potty, and DieHard car battery charger.

December 31, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast Highway B in Osceola for a report of stealing. Items stolen were copper and aluminum.

January 1, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 175 Road in Osceola for a disturbance. Jessica Thomas was arrested for Harassment-2nd degree. Jessica was transported to St. Clair County Jail for a book and release with charges pending.

January 1, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Ralph Johnson Circle in Osceola for a report of vehicle leaving the scene of accident. Investigation is ongoing.

January 1, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Benton Street in Osceola for a domestic disturbance. Gary Black was arrested for Domestic Assault- 4th degree-1st or 2nd Offense. Gary was transported to St. Clair County Jail for a book and release with charges pending.

January 1, 2024- St. Clair County deputies received a walk-in call at the Sheriff’s Office in regards to a domestic assault. Information was taken and investigation is ongoing.

January 1, 2024- St. Clair County deputies received a walk-in call at the Sheriff’s Office in regards to a stolen license plate. Plate stolen is Kansas registration 591LRF. Plate has been reported in M.U.L.E.S.
