Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 31, 2024 through January 6, 2025.
January 2nd – Misdemeanor Arrest / Felony Warrant (Driving While Revoked) – On January 2nd, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a home on NE 1031 Private Road in Lowry City, in reference to someone driving while revoked/suspended. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with William Dowden , and after an investigation, arrested William for a Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. William was transported to the St. Clair County Jail pending formal charges. Later, a Felony warrant came down from the St. Clair County Courthouse for a Bond Revocation on the original charges of DWI – Habitual and Driving While Revoked/Suspended. The bond was then set at $10,000 cash or surety.
January 3rd – Search Warrant – Felony Arrest (Dangerous Drugs) – On January 3rd, St. Clair County Deputies responded to Deepwater Street in Roscoe in reference to drug activity. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the residents of the property, and during the investigation, determined that the residence needed to be secured for application of a search warrant. After the search warrant was approved, the deputies entered the house, and a quantity of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine was found. Bryan Crawford was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony. Bryan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released, pending formal charges.
January 3rd – Warrant Arrest (Weapon/Drug Offenses) – On January 3rd, St. Clair County Deputies arrested Vernon Wait at the Jefferson City Correctional Center on a St. Clair County Warrant for a Writ of Habeas Corpus. The original charges on the warrant were for two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm – Dangerous Felon, and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Vernon was transferred to the St. Clair County Jail, and due to this being a Writ Warrant, no bond was given.
January 4th – Trespassing in Lowry City – On January 4th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to 1275 Private Road in Lowry City in reference to a report about tampering and trespassing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the property owner who stated that two individuals had removed signs stating “Keep Out” and “No Trespassing”, on January 1st, around 3 PM. Evidence was collected by the deputy and two suspects were named. This investigation is ongoing.
January 5th- Misdemeanor Arrest (Domestic Assault) – On January 5th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to S Taylor Street in Lowry City, in reference to a domestic assault. Upon arrival, the deputies spoke with the reporting party, who stated that Chase Robinson had assaulted him. After an investigation and taking statements from all parties involved, it was determined that Chase was the primary aggressor and he was arrested for Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree. Chase was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released, pending formal charges.
January 6th – Stealing in Lowry City – On January 6th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a phone call from a reporting party in reference to a possible theft from South Main Street in Lowry City. During the phone call, it was revealed that a postal pin, a varying amount of bath towels and washcloths, jewelry, and t-shirts were taken from the reporting party’s house. Two suspects were named, and a report was taken. This investigation is ongoing.
