Aug. 30 – Deputy arrested David Neal, 26, Garden City, in St. Clair County on active warrant from Bolivar Police Department for failing to appear in court on charge of no insurance. Bond set at $150 cash only. County line transfer set up and custody of Neal transferred to Bolivar Police Department.

Austin Turner, 21, Springfield, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony resisting arrest by fleeing and misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked or suspended. Bond set at $5,000 cash only.

Charges stem from St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation July 16 when deputies dispatched to assist Osceola Police Department with stopping two motorcycles traveling at high rate of speed and failing to yield. Motorcycles  originally traveling northbound on Hwy 13. When they reached Lowry City they turned around and started traveling southbound on Hwy 13. Several deputies joined in attempt to stop vehicles. While passing Hwy 82 speeds reached approximately 135 miles per hour.

Motorcycles continued south on Hwy 13 into Polk County. As they approached Hiwy 32, Bolivar, one motorcycle pulled over and stopped. Driver, Eric Woods, 21, Springfield, taken into custody and charged with class D felony resisting arrest by fleeing. Turner continued on and eluded law enforcement. He was not apprehended. During investigation it was discovered Turner’s driver’s license revoked.

St. Clair County warrant  issued for Megan Shields, 28, Blue Springs, charging her with probation violation on original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond set at $5,000 cash only.

Aug 31 – Willie Jarman Jr, 49, Kansas City, arrested in St. Clair County on a Clay County warrant for failing to appear in court on misdemeanor charge of non support. Bond set at $2,500 cash only. Arrest came after traffic stop conducted on vehicle he was a passenger in at the junction of Hwy V and Old Hwy 13.

St. Clair County warrant  issued for Erika Bootier, 24, Collins, for probation violation on four original counts of class C felony forgery. Bond iset at $5,000 cash only. Original charges stem from incidents December 2014 when Bootier cashed four checks that were stolen from individual.

Sept 1 – Cody McGraw, 31, Warrensburg, arrested on  St. Clair County warrant for probation violation on four class C felony counts of passing bad check-$500 or more. Bond iset at $5,000 cash only. Original charges stem from incidents November 2013.

Sept. 2 – Deputy took burglary report on SE T Hwy. Norm Botwinik and Julie Farr reported several items missing from cabin. Items missing included cast iron oven with the Pocahontas character on lid, small red Craftsman toolbox with miscellaneous tools inside, Stanley “fatboy” saw, used tennis shoes, USB cable, homemade knife  made from twisted railroad spike, four black nylon baskets, two back packs, three small flashlights, black handled pocket knife, water shoes, yellow Big Bird stuffed animal, two small green propane bottles, one gallon of white gas, wood Coca-Cola crate, and parts to an electronic temperature gauge. Total value of items was estimated at $450.

  Ingrid Trowbridge, 52, Weaubleau, arrested in St. Clair County on Henry County warrant for failing to appear in court on original misdemeanor charge of passing a bad check. Bond set at $150 cash or $300 surety. Warrant issued in May and original charge stems from incident in November 2015.

Sept. 3 – Deputy arrested Gary Gibbs, 52, Osceola, on a no bond Polk County warrant for felony probation violation. Arrest came after traffic stop conducted on vehicle Gibbs was driving on Hwy 13.

Sept. 4 – Deputy took  theft report at Bears Den, NE C Hwy. John Broman reported large sign from the front of the store was stolen. Sign white with red lettering and value estimated at $200.

Talegha Compton, 29, Springfield, arrested at the St. Clair County Jail on a Christian County warrant for failing to appear in court on misdemeanor traffic offense of no insurance. Bond set at $250 cash only.

Sept. 5 – Deputy took property damage report on NE C Hwy. John Broman reported the driver’s side window on his 1990 Ford F-250 was broken. Damage estimated at $100.

Leland Daggett – St. Clair County warrant was issued for Leland Daggett, 60, Osceola, charging him with possession of a controlled substance. Bond set at $60,000 cash only. Warrant issued Aug. 10.

Charge stems from investigation on June 6 at Daggett’s residence on SE 401 Rd. During investigation St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force found a glass pipe with white powder and large resealable plastic bag that  contained a white powder. Powder field tested positive for methamphetamine. Crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine was found on shelf in locked shed on premises.      

Sept. 6 – Todd Lee, 52, Bland, arrested at the St. Clair County Court House on a no bond Polk County warrant for probation violation on original felony charge of driving while intoxicated.

Sept. 7 – Cheryl Schmutz, 26, Osceola, arrested in St. Clair County on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of no license. Bond set at $199. Warrant issued in February and original charge stems from a MSHP investigation in September 2015.

Clayton Barker, 52, Lowry City, arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with probation revocation on original class C felony charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond set at $5,000 cash only. Barker was in custody at the St. Clair County jail when the warrant was served. Warrant issued Aug. 30.

Original charge stems from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation oJune 2012 when Barker transported to county jail for another agency. During search before entering the jail, Zanex was found on his person.

St. Clair County warrant issued for Bobby Rhodes, 36, Osceola, charging him with class D felony nonsupport. Bond set at $1,000 cash only.

Sept. 8 – Trevor Hayes, 24, Clinton, arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $2,500 cash or surety. Warrant issued Aug. 30 and charges stem from a Osceola Police Department investigation on April 22.

Christopher Gurley, 33, Lowry City, arrested on a St. Clair County warrant at a residence on NW 451 Rd. Warrant charges Gurley with five counts of class A misdemeanor violating an order of protection for an adult. Bond set at $3,500 cash or surety.

Warrant issued Aug. 15 and charges stem from incidents on June 5-6 and July 11. St. Clair County Sheriff’s office investigation discovered Gurley was served with an order of protection on June 4. On June 5-6, Gurley made four attempts to contact the petitioner in the case using a phone system for jail inmates. July 11, Gurley was seen on oproperty listed in the order of protection
