Sept. 23 – Deputy arrested Gregory Duffy, 40, Osceola, at Shelby’s convenience store, Lowry City, on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear in court on several charges, class C felony possession of a controlled, class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and two class A misdemeanor counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Warrant issued Sept. 12. Bond set at $5,000 cash only. Original charges stem from Henry County Sheriff’s office investigation in March.   

Tamra Burcham, 28, Springfield, arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for failing to appear in court on misdemeanor charges of no insurance and operating a motor vehicle with visibility reducing material applied to the windshield. Total bond set at $436.50 cash only. Charges stem from a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in June.

Sept. 24 – Josiah Heuermann, 20, Lee’s Summit, arrested on St. Clair County warrant charging him with class B felony distribution/ delivery/ manufacture/ produce a controlled substance and class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond  set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Charges stem from investigation the previous day when a deputy on patrol near Alexander’s convenience store, Lowry City, and observed a vehicle driving excessively fast through the store’s parking lot. Vehicle started to spin its tires and was skidding sideways while leaving the parking lot. Traffic stop conducted on vehicle and contact made with Heuermann, who was driving the vehicle.

During investigation several items located in Heuermann’s possession including drug paraphernalia, several small clear plastic baggies some containing white residue, broken pieces of a glass pipe with residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine, two cans of butane, digital scales, and multiple baggies containing unknown white substance.

Sept. 26 – Kyle Breshears, 19, Kansas City, arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for failing to appear in court on class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and infraction of no seatbelt. Total bond set at $2,510 with $10 cash only. Charge stems from Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation in January.

St. Clair County warrant issued for Robert Martin, 34, Weaubleau, for probation violation on original misdemeanor charge of non support. Bond set at $1,000 cash only.

Sept. 27 – Madison Smith, 19, Lee’s Summit, arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for failing to appear in court on class C misdemeanor exceeding the speed limit by 11-15 miles per hour and infraction of no seat belt. Total bond set at $230 cash only. Original charges stem from Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation November 2015.

Deputy dispatched to abandoned vehicle on shoulder of Hwy 13 at Lakeland School with all four wheels missing. Deputy arrived and located green 1998 Ford Mustang convertible with  front end sitting on pavement and back up on wood block. Several parts were missing including four wheels, fuel tank, battery and stereo. Vehicle had 48-hour towing tag on it issued by a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper the day before. Deputy had vehicle towed by local company to their lot.

Later the same day a deputy was notified by dispatch to contact Brian Brock in reference to vehicle that was towed. Contact made and he reported his vehicle broke down in the location on Sept. 22. He stated when he found someone with a trailer to come pick the vehicle up, it was no longer there.

Brock met with deputy and provided bill of sale for vehicle. He said a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder was traded for the mustang and title was in center console. After viewing vehicle at tow lot it was noted convertible top damaged and several other items missing including a rebel flag, title to vehicle, cold air intake system, vehicle’s computer system and five tool boxes with Craftsman tools. He estimated value of items and damage at $7,439.  Investigations ongoing. Sept 28 – St. Clair County warrant issued for Charles Gillian, 35, Collins, charging him with class D felony hindering prosecution of a felony. Bond set at $1,000 cash or surety.

Charge stems from incident in Collins Aug. 3. During the investigation it was determined Gillan made a telephone call tipping off home owners of a pending drug investigation planned for their residence.
