The special education department received a generous donation of $613.67 from the Knights of Columbus of Stockton on Feb. 7. Mrs. Shana Newman, El Dorado Springs R-II Special Education Director, accepted the check from Jim Wilson, Grand Knight. This donation was made possible from a fundraiser put on by Knights of Columbus. The Knights encouraged everyone to take part in their Tootsie-Roll drive which helps raise funds for children’s organizations and those that help people with disabilities. The district is very excited to utilize this donation to assist in the continued education and needs of our students.
