Meet our final state officer, Kraysen Leonard, State Vice President. Kraysen is a member of the El Dorado Springs FFA Chapter attending the University of Missouri, majoring in agricultural education, leadership and communications.

“I was excited to become a state officer to be able to share my passion and why with other members,” she says. “I am excited for the next year to be able to travel and meet new members and help them find their passion.

“Some advice I would like to give FFA members is to always remember your WHY? Remember why you joined. Because you loved it? Because you wanted to advocate? Because you wanted to be a part of the blue and gold? You don’t have to win all the competitions, it’s about the knowledge you learn, the friends you make, and the experience you gain. Don’t stress yourself out and make yourself miserable trying to do it all at once. Enjoy your time in the corduroy, make connections and remember the memories.”
