ECS Varsity Lady Buffalos opened the 2021 season at home with a double header on Tuesday evening, August 31. The Buffalos hosted Show-Me Christian Academy at 4:30 and Clinton Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m.  ECS kicked off the first match against Show-Me with a split and then swept the third game with a 25 to 23 win!  And they didn’t stop there; the Lady Buffalos rocked the court against Clinton.  Big hits by junior, Olivia Bryson, and sophomore, Breann Reasoner; huge tips/pushes by junior and senior sisters, Deonsay and Daisha McNeill, and amazing saves and sets, compliments of senior, Juliet Kama, and freshman, Sophia Bryson.  And with that, the Lady Buffalos took the win 26-24; beginning the season with a 2 and 0 record.   Pictured; beginning  with the left back row; #23 Daisha McNeill, #21 Olivia Bryson, #31 Rowan Johnson and #33 Nellie Dresch.  Front row, l-r: #14 Madison Shipp, #11 Sophia Bryson, #22 Breann Reasoner; sitting; #3 Juliet Kama and #32 Deonsay McNeill, #15 Sydney Williams, ECS Head Coach Mrs. Kelly Bryson, and behind Coach Bryson, #24 Emily Redburn.  The Buffalos continue to travel next week, but will be home on September 9th when they play big rivals, Heartland Christian Academy.  Hope to see you there.
