The El Dorado Springs Boys basketball team started a busy week with a trip to Buffalo to play in their first conference game of the season. The Bulldogs played a terrific first half and trailed 24-25 at halftime. Buffalo pulled away in the second half and won the game 65-41. Brayden Housh led the Bulldogs with 11 points.

El Dorado had no time to mourn their loss as they traveled to Archie the next time to take on the Whirlwinds. The Bulldogs took a 27-24 lead into halftime and extended the lead in the second half. The Bulldogs won 52-42 for their first victory on the year. Gaven Morgan led the Bulldogs with 11 points. 

The week ended with a trip to Sherwood for a conference matchup with the Marksmen. El Dorado jumped to an early 19-7 first-quarter lead and maintained a 34-25 lead at the half. The Bulldogs did an excellent job maintaining the lead and finishing the game in the second half and went on to win 75-61. Brayden Housh led all scorers with 22. Preston Robison added 16 and Ian Esry had 11.

El Dorado is currently 2-3 and 1-1 in the conference. The busy schedule continues with games against Warsaw, Lockwood, and Stockton scheduled for this week.
