The El Dorado Springs boys basketball team started their week by hosting Lamar. The Bulldogs got off to a slow start and trailed 20-11 at the end of the first. El Dorado pulled a little closer at the half and trailed 35-28 going into the break. But the Bulldogs couldn’t get any closer in the second half and lost the game 62-43. Ian Esry led the Bulldogs with 17 points. Preston Robison added 11.

El Dorado then traveled to Adrian to play the Blackhawks. The Bulldogs again started slow and trailed 10-3 after the first and 22-15 at the half. El Dorado made a push in the second half and took a one-point lead with 2 minutes left in the game. But they couldn’t hold on and lost 47-44. Ian Esry led all scorers with 20. Robison added 16.

The Bulldogs are currently 7-8 on the season and will travel to Clinton this week to play in the Clinton tournament.
