Here we go! ECS Cross Country teams are setting a fast pace; bringing home medals from the first two XC meets, Head Coach, Mrs. Becky LeeMasters, is very proud of her athletes!  Both teams traveled to the 2020 SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational on Saturday, September 5, in Bolivar, Missouri.  ECS Sophomore, Olivia Bryson, brought home 1st place in Division I; and 7th grader, Koal Caldwell placed 12th, overall in the Boy’s Middle School Division.

The Buffalos also competed in the Cottey College XC Invitational, at the Frank E. Peters Golf Course in Nevada, Missouri, on Friday, September 11.  Varsity athlete, Olivia Bryson placed 5th overall with a time of 22:32.  Her sister, Sophia Bryson, ran the 2 mile, middle school course and placed in the top 20. Also running the 2-mile, teammate, Koal Caldwell; Koal placed 3rd overall with a time of 13:25.

The XC teams will travel to Bolivar High School on September 15 and to the Lamar XC Invitational on September 29.  Proud of you!
