El Dorado Springs opened the week of April 26th at home against the Weaubleau Tigers. The Bulldogs beat the visiting Tigers by a score of 10-4. Dalton Adams started the game on Monday for the Bulldogs and he pitched four innings, surrendering 3 runs on four hits and struck out six batters.

The Bulldogs started the game off in the first inning by pushing across one run as Ian Esry crossed the plate on an RBI single by Trey Graves. Both teams remained scoreless until the fourth inning when the Tigers pushed across three runs to take a 3-1 lead. The Bulldogs were held scoreless in their half of the fourth inning to be down entering the fifth inning.

After a defensive 1-2-3 inning, the Bulldogs started the fifth inning off with two singles, one by Clayton Collins and the other by Trevyn Garringer, and Esry walked to load the bases. Gaven Morgan delivered a big blow when he doubled home all three runs to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead. The Bulldogs add six more runs that inning to give them a 10-3 lead after five innings. Garringer completed his second 1-2-3 inning in the sixth and Morgan pitched the 7th inning, giving up 1 run, to secure the 10-4 victory.

Gaven Morgan was 2-4 for the Bulldogs with 5 RBI and a double, Graves was 2-4 with 2 RBI, Esry was 1-1 with three walks, an RBI, and two runs scored. Payton Green, Preston Robison, and Collins each added a hit to the attack.

On Tuesday, April 27th the Bulldogs hosted the Buffalo Bison. Logan Spencer started the game and after surrendering a lead-off single, never allowed another runner in the 13-0 victory for El Dorado Springs. Spencer threw five innings of shutout baseball, giving up one hit, and had six strikeouts.

The Bulldogs scored 10 runs in the first and three more in the third inning of the game. During the game, Garringer was 2-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, Esry was 2-2 with a walk and three runs scored, Morgan was 1-2 with three runs scored and an RBI, and Spencer was 2-2 with 2 RBI and run scored. Clayton Collins was 2-2 with 2 runs scored and an RBI, while Robison, Graves, and Kaden Hutsell each added RBI hits in the game. Dalton Adams and Kade Fast each had a hit in the game.

In the final game of the week, the Bulldogs hosted the Nevada Tigers on Friday, April 30th, and walked away with a 6-5 victory. Gaven Morgan started the game on the mound for the Bulldogs. Morgan threw five and a third innings, giving up four runs, 2 earned, on six hits, and struck out three batters. Garringer earned the save throwing the last inning and two thirds, allowing two hits, one run, and striking out one.

Garringer was 2-3 at the plate, Esry scored a run, Morgan was 2-3 with a run scored, Spencer added an RBI on a sacrifice fly, Robison was 1-3 with a run and an RBI, Graves had an RBI single and run scored, and Collins added a run and hit. Dalton Adams had a big night as he was 1-2 with a home run and 2 RBI and Kaden Hutsell added an RBI single.

The Bulldogs are now 16-3 on the season and were scheduled to play at Butler on Monday, May 3, and at Warsaw on Tuesday, May 4.
