This year, on the home High School field on Saturday, Oct. 22, tied at 36 all in overtime, the young Bulldogs wanted it bad and the game turned into an “all out fist fight” according to James Edwards, one of the three coaches. The other two coaches are Randy Baker and Brice Motp.

Edwards said, “We had a really big crowd turnout this year. He said he crowds keep getting bigger.

James said that every time one of the teams got the football, it scored.

It came down to the final play of the game. Ash Grove had just scored and was going for a two-point conversion for the win. “Then Montana Hacker had that game saving tackle,” Edwards said, “That was in overtime.

He said the 3rd-4th grade team had a heartbreaker losing in double overtime. The 5th and 6th graders move on to Middle School. The 3rd and 4th grade team has another year to pull out the win.
