The ElDo Bulldogs beat conference opponent, the Sherwood Marksmen 44-8 on Friday, 10/6. Early in the game, we lost a senior due to an unfortunate misapplication of the rules. Our players fought through that adversity as a whole, as it really lit a fire under each one, especially Landon Murry.  Murry started the onslaught with a blocked punt that he recovered and returned for a TD.  He also cashed in the 2 PT conversion.  The team played inspired and angry and in about 1.5 quarters, the score went from being 0-0 to 30-0 in favor of the good guys.  Sherwood got the ball to start the 2nd half and the Eldo defense forced a quick 3 and out, followed by a 6 minute scoring drive that was capped off with a TD run by Aidan Rotert. Early in the 4th Quarter, Eldo pulled their starters from the game and Sherwood soon followed.  With reserves in the game, both teams traded TDs and 2 P T conversions.  The final score was 44-8 in favor of the Bulldogs.
