FIRST EVER GIRLS GOLF TOURNAMENT AT HOME

by Krista Hannon, 9. On Wednesday, Sept. 7, our El Dorado Springs Girls Golf team went to Stockton for their tournament.

Even though our girls didn’t get a team score, their coach was very proud. “They came out really focused and played very well for their first time playing in a match. We weren’t able to claim a team score because neither team had four girls” stated coach Swopes.

Though the team didn’t receive a team score overall, the girls on the team showed up well individually. Lanie Wolfe claimed first place with 51 as a total score, coming in close was Skylyn Gibbs in 4th with a total score of 62, and lastly, Tasia Weber in 5th place with a score total of 64. “I thought it all went well for being our first tournament, especially since there were only three girls,” said Tasia Weber.
