• Twenty-one batters couldn’t locate Tailor Hutsell as she threw a no-hitter on Thursday, in the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity’s 6-1 victory over Hermitage.
Hutsell stuck out 13 batters and walked four while recording her momentous feat. She got Bell to strike out for the final out of the game.
• Paige Esry had a busy day at the plate,collecting two extra-base hits. She doubled in the fourth and fifth innings.
• The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity were sparked by Esry and Jace Cundiff, who teamed up for six hits and four RBIs.
• Corum couldn’t get it done in the circle for Hermitage taking a loss. She allowed six runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out four.
• Hermitage scored its only run of the game on an error in the third inning.
• The lead stayed with the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity after the fifth, when they scored two runs on an RBI double by Esry and an RBI single by Brooke Larsen.
