• Thursday was a great day for Tailor Hutsell, as Hutsell tossed a shutout to carry the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity to an 11-0 victory over Buffalo in six innings.
• The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity’s Hutsell kept Buffalo off the scoreboard for all six innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out nine.
• Seven runs in the first three innings helped the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity blow out Buffalo . A two-run error in the first inning helped the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity put some runs on the board early.
• Jace Cundiff racked up two RBIs on two hits for the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity. She singled in the third and sixth innings.
• Wimberly was charged with the loss. She allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked none and struck out three.
• The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity added five more runs in the bottom of the third. An error scored Anyssa Salazar for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by Cundiff’s single, scoring Payton Babcock.
• The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs Varsity tacked on another three runs in the sixth. A clutch hit scored Salazar to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Cundiff’s single, bringing home Babcock and Breanna Rhoads.
BEATING OUT A BUNT – Paige Esry played small ball to get on base for the Lady Bulldogs beating out a bunt against Buffalo.
