It was an educational week for the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs as they faced extremely tough competition all week and weekend.
Head Coach Ashley Rogers told the Sun, “We are currently 2-4. We lost to Osceola in two hard fought matches on Thursday.”
“We traveled to the Branson Tournament on Saturday. We played Fort Zumwalt West to start the day and lost both sets, 21-25, 14-25. They were very good.”
“Our second set we played Springfield Central and lost both sets. Our last game of pool play was against Houston and we beat them in two. After pool play, we advanced to the silver bracket and drew a very talented Republic team and lost in two.”
“I was pleased with the girls. We took on much bigger schools and put up a good fight. It was great experience for us to help prepare for the rest of the season.”
“We host Strafford on Tuesday. They finished second in the state last year and return part of their line up. We are very anxious to play them.”

LITTLE BIG GIRL – From anywhere on the court Thursday night, Tory Rawlings, the smallest player on the Bulldog team, was the best at getting the ball over the net, not just a floater, but something hard for the Osceola Indians to handle.
