Update ElDo baseball games

Friday, April 11

ElDo 16 Buffalo 1

Rylun Mays was 2 for 4.  Connor Bradley, Brett Alexander, Kane Caldwell, and Skylar Crawford each had a hit.  Aidan Rotert was 2 for 3 on the night. Rylun Mays went the distance throwing 4 innings, striking out 4, only allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs.

It was a great win for us in conference play.  We were able to score runs in every inning.  Rylun threw a great game and it was nice to be back home.

Tuesday, April 15 Holden Tournament

Holden 6 ElDo 2

Rylun Mays and Aidan Rotert each had two hits on the night. Connor Bradley also had a hit. Karson Burley pitched four innings giving up 9 hits and striking out two.  Cooper Greathouse came in pitching the final two innings not allowing an earned run.

Clinton 7 ElDo 4

Connor Bradley, KanDyn Ewert, Brett Alexander, Aidan Rotert, and Grady Crews each had hits for the Bulldogs.  KanDyn pitched the first five innings followed by Brett and Cooper Brown who each pitched one inning.

We had a chance in both games tonight to win.  We had runners in scoring position and we were unable to get those key runs in when we needed them.  We have had problems all year of hitting well 1-9.  Aidan Rotert has really picked his game up offensively of late.  I am extremely proud of his hard work and perseverance!

Friday, April 18 Holden Tournament

Odessa 4 ElDo 2

We once again played a very close game coming up just short.  We were led offensively by Karson Burley, Connor Bradley, KanDyn Ewert, and Aidan Rotert. Rylun Mays, Cooper Brown, and Skylar Crawford each pitched.  All three pitchers did a great job of competing.  Karson has really been hitting the ball well of late.  Aidan Rotert continues to hit the ball well.  Connor is seeing the ball better offensively as well and did a great job behind the plate.  We have three big games this week playing Liberal Monday at home and playing our last two conference games at Warsaw and Versailles.
