TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the United Methodist Church, 201 E Broadway on Thursday, March 7, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting.

Leader Sheryl Ann called our meeting to order and Kay led us in singing “I Want To Be At That Meeting.” We said our TOPS and KOPS pledges.

Sheryl led us in roll call and walking report. Twenty-Four weighed in today and the chapter had a net loss of 3.8 lbs. Kay was the best loser of the week with a loss of 3.6 lbs. Congratulations Kay!

Mary, and Angie celebrated a birthday the past week. Terriesha will be celebrating a birthday on the 9th.  We sang Happy Birthday to her.

Jean won the right to draw for the marble but did not get the winning one. The pot was at $50.

Contest Report: Linda Hall’s team is in 1st place, Juanita’s team in 2nd, Jean and Marilyn’s teams are tied for 3rd and Carol’s team is in 4th place.

Linda Hall reported on the baked potato luncheon. She passed out work sheets and sign up sheets for those bringing items.

Set up will be Wednesday, March 21,  at 5 p.m. Please come and help if you can.

Potatoes will be picked up at the next meeting March 14. Plan on helping to bag the potatoes before the meeting.

Next week will be our chapters Recognition Day. Please dress up as we do not know who may be receiving awards and there will be photos. As Robbie says, just wear “Church Clothes.”

The floor was turned over to Marilyn for the monthly awards presentation.

Winner of free dues for the month was Carol, since she is a KOPS, she gave it to Jan.

Linda C was the best loser for the month with a loss of 6.6 lbs. She won $2.87 for her efforts.

We had 9 TOPS members who lost weight during the month of February, they were, Robbie, Susan S, Juda, Chris, Judy D, Terriesha, Le Etta, Sandi, and Linda C. Congratulations to all.

Marilyn presented Terriesha a certificate and charm for six weeks continual loss.

Linda C received a certificate for her 5 lb. loss, and a certificate for her 10 lb. loss and her choice of a charm bracelet or a charm.

Jean received a certificate and charm for 14 years as a KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) and a certificate and charm for “A all black year” Meaning staying in Leeway all year.

Steve and Juanita donated a smart watch to raffle at the potato bake. LJ made motion we do this, Robbie 2nd motion passed.

With no other business meeting was adjourned with our motto “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME”.
