May 19 – Arrests – Michael S. Christensen, 19, El Dorado Springs, charging him with leaving the scene of an accident and careless and reckless driving. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Lesley M. Smith, 29, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging her with stealing, tampering with utility meter, property damage and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $2,500. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

May 20 – Arrests – Keith A. Daniels, 32, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant, charging him with probation violation. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance.

Alvin W. Dunn, 42, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation on the original charge of keeping or maintaining a public nuisance and an active Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation on the original charge of damage to jail/jail property both have a total cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Caleb L. Ennis, 21, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation with no bond. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office.

Officers responded to 121 West Broadway concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a black motorcycle helmet with a Harley Davison logo on the front of the helmet.

May 22 – Officers responded to 227 West 54 Hwy concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of a wallet containing ID cards, insurance cards and $950 cash.

May 23 – Arrest: Jesus J. Selfridge, 26, El Dorado Springs, charging him with DWR, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

May 23 – Arrest: Scott T. Stockbouer, 39, El Dorado Spring, on an active El Dorado Springs warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $228.50. He was transported to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance.

May 24 – Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of 5.1 gallons of gas totaling $16.54.

Arrest: – Rachelle L. Nance, 33, El Dorado Springs, charging her with DWI and wrong license plates. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

May 25 – Arrest: John C. Dice, 64, of Liberali, charging him withDWI. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

May 27 – Officers responded to 306 West Marshall concerning a reported structure fire (Arson). A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Arrests: Joseph C. Volb, 32, of El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of passing bad checks under $500 with a cash only bond of $260. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

William J. Wires, 27, Bolivar, for the probable cause of unlawful use of a weapon. Officers applied for and received a warrant charging him with unlawful use of a weapon with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Michael L. Hershberger, 37, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with no bond. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending release after 72 hours.

Officers responded to 1600 South Park concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a Shoeman battery charger. Investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to 107 West Hickory concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of two Remington .22 caliber rifles with black stocks and a Remington 30-06 rifle with a brown stock. Suspects have been identified and investigation icontinuing.

May 28 – Officers responded to 603 East Gentry concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of prescription medication. Investigation continuing.

May 29 – Officers responded to 100 South Main concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of several prescription medications. Investigation continuing.

Arrest: Russell A. Rice, 38, El Dorado Springs, charging him with DWR. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 901 South Grand concerning a reported assault. Investigation continuing.

May 30, – Arrest: Jerold G. Lake, 32, El Dorado Springs on an active Cedar County warrant charging him with first degree assault, armed criminal action, first degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon and kidnapping with a cash only bond of $100,000 and a Polk County warrant charging him with stealing a motor vehicle with no bond. He was issued a citation for possession of marijuana and was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported shoplifting. The investigation revealed the theft of a bottle of Canadian Mist. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sherri L. Austin, 45, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with larceny under $500.00. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 421 South Main concerning a reported trespassing. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Richard Tover, 43, El Dorado Springs, charging him with first degree trespass. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

May 31- Arrest: Richard L. Holder, 44, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear with a cash or surety bond of $856.50. He was transported to Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance. He was also issued Municipal Court Summonses charging him with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
