Bob and Cheryl Ellerman of Edwards visited Jewel and Helen Ellerman for a while Tuesday evening, Nov. 22.

Jerry and Karen Coy of Harwood met Bob and Cheryl Ellerman at Warsaw and had dinner at a restaurant near Concordia Thanksgiving day, Nov. 24, and then they went to the Ellerman home and visited for a while.

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed Thursday, Dec. 8. She is doing the meal for the Duke Mason Band and friends. She will serve the meal at the El Dorado Community building before the show at the Opera House.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 27. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “Giving God Thanks,” was from the books of Jonah and Psalm.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman transferred their church membership from the Nevada United Methodist Church to the Grace United Methodist Church at El Dorado Springs Sunday, Nov. 27. They were members of the Schell City United Methodist Church until they closed their doors on June 19.

I talked to Connie Locke, who was the pastor at the Schell City United Methodist Church, then she went to the Marionville UMC. She said she is doing pretty good now. She said the church is busy getting ready for the Christmas holiday. She spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Nevada with her dad, Ben Locke, and brother. She said to tell everyone hi.
