Fire report for weeks of Dec. 17, 24
On Thursday, Dec. 21, at 10:12 a.m. the fire department responded to a lawn mower fire on S. Park. One truck and eight firefighters responded. Later that evening at 5:01 p.m. the department was dispatched to a structure fire on W. Martin. Four trucks and 14 firefighters responded. On Friday, Dec. 22, at 10:59 p.m.

Cain, Adrian, Van, Snider and June Gilfoil visited Adrian’s hometown, El Dorado Springs. over the Christmas Holidays. The Gilfoils live in St. Francisvile, LA and had come to El Dorado Springs to visit Adrian’s parents, Kenny and Kimball Long.

We had a great weekend. St. Clair County Deputies, Appleton City Police Department and Osceola Police Department teamed up with Missouri State Highway Patrol and took kids from Osceola, Lakeland, Roscoe and Appleton City Schools shopping for Christmas. First, we all met at Lakeland School and loaded up all 36 kids on the Lakeland bus

Tri-county Quilt Club met Dec. 4, at Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall for their regular monthly meeting and Christmas party with 15 members present.
