On Aug. 8 Mo-Kan Square Dancers will offer beginning square dance lessons from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Neal Senior Center, 301 North Main, Nevada. Jay Wright will be the instructor. On Saturday, Oct. 7, Vernon County 4-H will host the 54th Annual 4-H Chicken BBQ. Japan says “Whoa, go slow” on imports of frozen beef from the United States.
