Claudia Patricia (VanBummel) Hardison, 68, passed away at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, on Friday, April 26, 2019, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on May 17, 1950, in Carthage to Glenn and Leora (Murphey) VanBummel. Claudia lived in the Lamar area until 1957 when her family moved to El Dorado Springs.

Glen Bert Shifflett, 54, of El Dorado Springs, passed away May 2, 2019. Glen was born Dec. 21, 1964, in Clinton to Lester Howard and Cheryl Lou (Savory) Shifflett. Services were held Sunday, May 5, in Bland-Hackleman Chapel. Burial followed in Calhoun Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
