Barbara J. Barker, 77, El Dorado Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Barbara was born May 12, 1939, in Vernon County, the daughter of Walter Duckett Taylor and Ida Louise (Moore) Taylor. Barbara attended Nevada High School until the eleventh grade. Following school, she worked at the International Shoe Factory for 201⁄2 years,
Louise Wilcox Breshears, 89, was born April 7, 1927, to Alice Dirks Wilcox and James Benjamin Wilcox at El Dorado, KS. She passed away March 27, 2017, after struggling to recover from surgery to repair a broken femur. In 1939 the Wilcox family moved to Harwood, and Louise attended Oak Ridge and El Dorado Springs
Peggy Joann Oberly, 77, daughter of G.L and Opal (Todd) Bowen, was born Nov. 15, 1939 in Filley. She passed away March 27, 2017, in Appleton City. Peggy graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1957 and lived at home until her marriage to Dan Oberly on Feb. 20, 1959 in Filley West Church.
Denny Earl Basore Jr., 69, son of Denver Earl and Lucille (Brown) Basore, passed away peacefully at his home on March 26, 2017.
